Carroll Edward Waddell, of Woodruff, a retired pastor, died Sept. 1, 2012, following a brief illness.
He was a retired IBM field engineer and Southern Baptist pastor. He served as pastor of The Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Manning and Long Branch Baptist Church in Dalzell.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Knighton Waddell, three children and seven grandchildren.
