Donna Thompson, a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Blythewood, has been added to a group of nominees who will be considered as trustees for the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina when messengers to the South Carolina Baptist Convention meet Nov. 15-16 in Columbia.

Thompson was a late addition to the trustee nomination process after a previous nominee withdrew from consideration, according to Barry Edwards, president of the foundation.

The Baptist Foundation of South Carolina manages financial assets and investments on behalf of several South Carolina Baptist ministry partners.
