Russell M. “Rusty” Lee, an Easley native, is the new minister to students and young adults at New Highland Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Va. He is a graduate of Clemson University and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. Lee was ordained to ministry in 2011 by First Baptist Church of Mauldin.
