He is pastor of Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Anderson and is a graduate of North Greenville University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Mikki, live with their three children in Pendleton.
Stephen D. Vassar, pastor of North Columbia Baptist Church for more than 36 years, retired Dec. 31. His previous pastorates included Pine Level Baptist Church in Savannah River Association and West Side Baptist Church in Chesterfield Association. He and his wife, Cathy, will reside in Columbia.
