Dear Dr. Graham: I know the Bible says we shouldn't worry, but isn't that a bit unrealistic? I could name a dozen things I worry about every day, and they aren't going to go away just because I hope they will, or because I pray they will.

Dear Dr. Graham: Do you think medical science will ever abolish all sickness, and even death itself? I?d be dead by now if it weren't for some of the most recent medical advances, and it's made me wonder where such things could be headed.

Dear Dr. Graham: I?ve had at least three close calls in the last few years (two bad auto wrecks, one heart attack) and my friends say it's a miracle I?m still alive. What is God trying to tell me, if anything? Or have I just been lucky?

Dear Dr. Graham: I think my husband may have a problem with alcohol. He?ll go for weeks with just a few drinks a day, but then he?ll go on a binge and be wiped out for several days. Should this concern me?

Dear Dr. Graham: I?ve been teaching a Bible class at our church for several years, but I?m about to give up. The class is for junior high students, and I just don't feel like I?m getting through to them. How can I know if it's time for me to quit?

Dear Dr. Graham: I?m concerned about my sister because she's in a very abusive marriage. I even fear for her life. (She's been to the emergency room three times recently, always blaming it on accidents ? but she's told me otherwise.) Does God demand that she stay, like her husband says He does?

Dear Dr. Graham: When you ask God for something and He doesn't give you any answer, does His silence mean that He's saying, ?No?? Or has He even heard our prayer?

Dear Dr. Graham: Toward the end of the year, we get dozens of letters from various ministries and charities asking for money. I?m sure they?re all worthy, and we?d like to help them, but we can't support everything. How should we decide which ones to support?

Dear Dr. Graham: I keep asking God to forgive me for something I did many years ago that I know was very wrong, but I don't think He has. Is He going to get tired of me because I keep begging for forgiveness? I still feel guilty over what I did, so I know He hasn't forgiven me yet.

Dear Dr. Graham: I heard someone say the other day that when we get to heaven, we?re probably going to be surprised at some of the people who will be there. Do you think it's true?
