John Frederick Neel was called as pastor by Paxville Baptist Church, Manning, on Dec. 8. He previously served as associate pastor at East Gaffney Baptist Church, Gaffney. Neel earned his master’s degree from North Greenville University and is currently pursuing a doctor of ministry degree there. He and his wife, Jennie, a public school teacher, will begin their service at Paxville on Dec. 22.
