Catoe named pastor emeritus at Mount Arnon Church in Allendale

Mike Catoe, retired pastor of Mount Arnon Baptist Church in Allendale, has been named pastor emeritus of the church. He served as pastor for more than 31 years. Wade Ferguson, chairman of deacons, made the announcement and presented Catoe with a plaque to commemorate the occasion. Catoe and his wife, Sarah, reside in Graniteville.

Charles Brunson honored by Graham Baptist Church

Graham Baptist Church, Sumter, recognized Charles Brunson upon his completion of 57 years teaching in Sunday school at various levels in this church. Grandson of Eastlan Baptist Church founder pays a visit

Pastor and evangelist Eddie West (right) visited Eastlan Baptist Church in Greenville on Oct. 3. His desire was to meet the current pastor of Eastlan, Benjamin Littlejohn, and visit the church that his grandfather, G.B. Lee, organized in 1939. West is pastor of Christ Church in North Augusta.
