Mike Hammond, pastor of Jones Crossroads Baptist Church in Lancaster, and his wife, Gail, hold a copy of “Two Hundred Years of Missions and Ministries: A Partial History of the Moriah Baptist Association,” which was introduced to the association’s churches Feb. 28. Hammond, who also teaches mathematics at Wingate University, authored the book.

Tony Crouch has been named director of missions for Woodruff Baptist Association. The Greenwood native formerly served as pastor of Fairview Baptist Church in Kinards and Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Laurens. Crouch attended the University of South Carolina and Erskine College. He and his wife, Mary Ann, have two children and two grandchildren.
