David Gordon Taylor, 80, of Anderson, died Feb. 10, 2016.

He attended Temple Bible College, Bob Jones and Furman University. He retired from First Baptist Church of Aynor in 1998 and was the founder of Good Shepherd Sunday School Ministries. He also taught at the Langston Bible Institute in Conway. He and his family moved to Anderson in 2000, where he served as associate pastor of Temple Baptist Church for many years. He was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Crowe Taylor, one son, and three grandchildren.
