Utica Baptist Church completes construction and renovation project

Utica Baptist Church in Seneca recently completed a $3 million construction and facilities-improvement project, including a new welcome center, additional classrooms, an elevator, new chairs and carpet, an upgraded sound system, a sprinkler system, ADA-upgraded restrooms, and parking lot resurfacing. Ryan Goodroe is completing his fifth year as lead pastor.

Longtime pastor Jack Hames receives Order of the Palmetto

Jack Hames was presented the Order of the Palmetto May 13 at Inman Mills Baptist Church. In 62 years of pastoral service, Hames has delivered more than 10,000 sermons in six churches. The Order of the Palmetto recognizes a person’s lifetime achievements and contributions to the State of South Carolina.
